Tick, tock, tick, tock. Why was the clock so lethargic? Why was this class so obnoxious? It wasn’t even a class; you weren’t in school. Actually, you didn’t quite know where you were. Hopes Peak Academy, right? No, it couldn’t be; the only thing that was happening was the regular sight of a dead body and the rest of the class doing their own “investigation” as it was called. Kirigiri and Makoto were thoroughly checking each and every corner like actual detectives. Sakura and Ashihina were bustling this way and that, trying to offer help wherever they felt needed. Mondo and Kiyotaka were bickering like a couple. Chihiro was cowering in a corner, trying very hard not to cry. Yasahiro was... doing absolutely nothing, as usual. Toko was on the floor, in shock and out cold due to the sight of blood, and Byakuya was waiting impatiently for her to get off the floor, arms crossed and that obnoxious sophisticated look on his face.
You absolutely hated that face. That stuck up, cringed, revolting face. It irked you on so many levels. He was curd to others, treating everyone like they were complete trash. To set the record straight you never hated any of your classmates, sure, some bothered you, but you would never kill any of them. But Byakuya Togami was a whole different case.
The one behavior he participated in that annoyed you the most was the way he treated Toko. He treated her like a slave, no, something lower than a slave, dirt. He treated her like dirt. He would force her to tag along on all his expeditions, call her horrid names, and yet, she stuck with him like a child clinging to their mother. As the super duper high school level sweetheart you couldn’t stand to see anyone endure such torture. Even if Toko (who seemed to even enjoy the onslaught of insults he hurled at her) didn’t mind, it made you furious.
If he actually gave it some effort he could be a proper gentlemen, alas, his net value and social hierarchy level were so far above anyone else’s that he simply wouldn’t give the idea a thought. He was actually quite handsome, his bleach blonde hair gave him that brilliant heir, combined with his glasses made him look all the better. His fashion of dress was sophisticated and etiquette.
No! No! What in the world were you thinking? Were you blushing? You bit your bottom lip, trying to mind your own business, yet you couldn’t avoid looking their direction. That was when he caught you. He turned his head slightly, made a revolted face, and let out a sophisticated “Humph”. You quickly turned the other way, pretending to be looking at the corpse of your recently murdered friend, but that wasn’t enough to fool the great Byakuya Togami.
“What do you want commoner?” He demanded, the moment you turned around you were surprised to realize he was right in your face, “I’m not getting to close to you, you smell.” He commented, turning his nose up prestigiously. “I-It’s nothing Togami-san.” It pained you to a whole new level, taking such care to take to someone who had so little regard for human life and treating them with proper respect. “I need your help with something, I think I found a clue, but it’s under the victim’s bed. You’re small enough in stature to crawl under and retrieve it,” he commanded.
He then led you to the victim’s dorm. Wait a minute. When did you agree to help him? The nerve of this man. To automatically assume that you were available upon his whim. “How rude” you mumbled under your breathe so quietly that only a passing fly would be able to her. Apparently Byakuya also had amazing hearing along with his looks. “Repeat what you just said so I could hear,” his eyebrow shot up, expecting an answer.
Something inside of you became painfully angry. “I said, that you are very rude,” you stuck your nose up in the air. Give him a taste of his own medicine, you thought. You even felt a relief, as if something was lifted off your shoulder. You finally worked up the courage to speak your mind. “So stop being such a… a… jerk,” you blurted out suddenly. Did you just call him a jerk? You did! You never said anything like that. It felt amazing.
Byakuya stood there in absolute awe. Your last statement left him silent, completely silent. Maybe you took things a little too far. Being rude to someone who is rude makes you no better than them. “Um. Byakuya-San?” You questioned, tilting your head slightly, “A-Are you alright?” More silence.
Maybe you should just leave. That would be the best option in this case. “So, this is what it’s like,” you heard a voice behind you, very solemn and broken. You turned back around to find a smirking Byakuya. “I like women with a sharp tongue. But you have to work harder than that. You have to prove to me that you actually have brains. Though, I doubt you could do it; a commoner like you.” Was he issuing you a challenge? For some reason you found yourself smirking. Why were you smirking?
“Don’t tell Toko about this,” he said as he left the room. It seemed as if something in you had changed, something major. You shook your head, “That’s not something a lady would do,” you spoke to yourself, yet the smirk was still pasted on your face.

the reader : BYAKUYA TOGAMI x READER
Love was never in the cards that life had handed to you. Being the youngest daughter in a large and politically powerful family meant top-notch security and homeschooling. The only boys you’d ever met were sent by their own fathers to woo you and convince your father into letting them have your hand in marriage. You saw through most of these shams, and soon enough, your father had you walk around with your own personal bodyguard, even inside your home.
Once you had finally asked if you’d ever have a boyfriend at dinner one day, your father replied simply. “A boyfriend isn’t necessary if you already have a fiancé

snapchat [byakuya togami x reader]
It was late at night, and [First] still wasn't asleep despite the fact that she had school in less than four hours. Sleep had never come easy, but it wasn't likely that staring at the bright light of her cellphone was doing much to lull her to dreamland. Ah well, she was used to it.
She scrolled through tumblr, quietly laughing at text posts and inwardly groaning at the 'doge' ones. Just how long was that fad going to last? Some food porn and one emoticon debate later, snapchat alerted her that someone sent her a snap. Instantly, she was confused, who would be up this late at night besides her?
Nevertheless, she open

A little different than what I usually write, but I rather like this one. Here's a little tip, when writing about Byakuya Togami, listen to Nicki Minaj, it perfectly captures his sassy nature. I thought it would be difficult for he isn't one of my favorite characters, but this came out smoothly.
